Cognitive Psychology is a mental process, perception, thinking, memory, attention, language, problem-solving, and learning (development). As a baby, I cannot remember much but it was sort of the time where I begin to observe the settings around me. I do not know much about this time but what I do know is I am alive and that I exist. Now as I grow older to a child. I understand now that my name is Alaina Sellers and that I have a brother and two parents. I know I have to go to school and learn all my letters, shapes, and colors. I also begin to understand that I like certain foods, television shows, and certain activities. My perception of the world is almost innocent, and I begin to understand certain core subjects in school which increases my intellectual ability to read and write. As I become a teenager I surpass all of the basic teachings we are taught as a kid. I have a different perception of the world around and begin to see the imperfections of the world. My memory as a child begins to slowly fade away from the innocence I once saw the world as. My attention is greater now when it comes to something I enjoy or I am passionate about. My language, problem-solving, and learning have increased and now I have to incorporate my learning into my lifestyle.
